NM Goldstone & Co respects your privacy. This policy explains what personal information we collect when you use this website or get in touch, how we use it, and the rights you have over it. We keep this short and plain on purpose.

What we collect
When you fill in our contact form, we collect:
- Your first and last name
- Your email address
- The message you send us
If you email or call us directly, we hold whatever you choose to share in that message or conversation.
We also use Google Analytics to understand how people use the site, but only if you accept cookies when you first visit. If you accept, Google Analytics collects information such as the pages you view, roughly where in the world you are, and the type of device and browser you use. We do not use this to identify you personally. If you decline, no analytics cookies are set.
Cookies
A cookie is a small file a website can store in your browser. We do not use cookies to advertise to you or to track you across other sites. We use them in two ways:
- To remember your cookie choice. When you accept or decline on our banner, we store that decision in a small first-party cookie so we do not ask you again on every visit.
- Google Analytics (only if you accept). If you accept, Google sets analytics cookies to measure site usage. If you decline, these are never set. You can clear cookies in your browser at any time to reset your choice.
Why we use it, and our lawful basis
We use the information you give us to:
- Reply to your enquiry and arrange a free chat
- Understand what you need so we can tell you honestly whether we can help
- Provide our services if you decide to work with us
Our lawful basis for handling enquiry details is our legitimate interest in responding to people who contact us, and, where you go on to work with us, the performance of a contract. We do not send marketing emails and we do not sell your information to anyone.
Who we share it with
We only share your information with the service providers that help this website and our business run. We do not share it for any other purpose.
- Web3Forms processes our contact form and delivers your message to us by email. Your form details pass through their systems for this purpose.
- Google Analytics measures how the site is used, but only if you accept cookies. It may process this data on Google's servers.
- Netlify hosts this website and keeps standard server logs, which may include IP addresses, for security and reliability.
- Google Fonts and jsDelivr serve the fonts and animation library used on the site. When your browser loads these, your IP address is visible to those providers as part of the normal request.
These providers may process data outside the UK. Where they do, they are required to protect it to a standard recognised under UK data protection law.
How long we keep it
We keep enquiry details for as long as we need them to respond to you and, if you become a client, for as long as our working relationship lasts plus any period the law requires us to keep financial records. If you ask us to delete your details and we have no legal reason to keep them, we will.
How we protect it
This website is served over a secure (HTTPS) connection. We limit access to your information to the people who need it to do their work, and we take reasonable steps to keep it safe.
Your rights
Under UK data protection law you have the right to:
- Ask for a copy of the personal information we hold about you
- Ask us to correct anything that is wrong
- Ask us to delete your information, where we have no legal reason to keep it
- Object to or ask us to restrict how we use it
- Withdraw consent at any time, where we relied on consent
To use any of these rights, email us at info@nmgoldstone.co.uk. We will respond within one month.
Complaints
If you are unhappy with how we have handled your information, please tell us first so we can put it right. You also have the right to complain to the Information Commissioner's Office (ICO), the UK regulator for data protection, at ico.org.uk.
Changes to this policy
If we change how we handle your information, we will update this page and the date at the top. Please check back from time to time.
